Project H.E.R.O. (Homes Eliminated of Restrictions and Obstacles) is an innovative program with the goal to improve the lives of disabled veterans across the United States by combining the volunteer spirit and expertise of the International Code Council (ICC) and International Code Council Foundation (ICCF) with the home rehabilitation expertise of Rebuilding Together and its dedicated Veterans Services Department. The original project goal to make homes accessible, one veteran at a time, is still the overriding objective. We are writing this letter today to request assistance in recruiting volunteers to help the International Code Council Foundation (ICCF), Federal Alliance for Safe Homes, Inc. (FLASH®) and Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay to make a difference in a veterans life through the ICCFs Project H.E.R.O program. It is with your help and generosity that we are able to make these projects possible and we thank you for your time. Please see the attached invitation, registration form and liability waiver for more details on the project day, and on the veteran we will be serving. We are hoping to recruit 25 volunteers. At the end of the day, our goal is to have significantly improved the home and life of the homeowner, while making it enjoyable for all involved. Please contact Sarah Murphy at 888-422-7233 x.4223 or via email at sarah@iccsafe.org with any questions or concerns prior to the event. Invitation Volunteer Registration Form Waiver |
